The
stunning scenery continued for the whole of Day 31 as we started halfway
between Rushan and Khorog, and ventured further towards the Wakhan Valley. Rather
than try to explain what we saw, I’ll let the photos do the talking….
But not letting Caleb get away with it that easily there was the small matter of him beaching Marigold in the sand. As we watched Team Thunderbirds and Team Two and a Half Men seamlessly sail over a stretch of sandy ground, Caleb took a rogue racer’s line that he soon regretted. For what was yet another in an already long list of embarrassments for Team Rub-a-Dub-Dub, we once again held up the convoy as Rich and Alf had to push her free. Strike, no doubt about it, well and truly chalked up against Caleb.
